Our 13th Annual VCA Jog-a-Thon will be held March 2nd, 2018. This is our most significant fundraiser of the year. First, the students secure pledges or donations from family, friends and businesses. On the day of the event, Pre-K through 8th grade students run or walk around a track of varying size for 20 minutes on a course marked out on Fulton Field (the park adjacent to the school). The average student can jog 20 to 30 laps. Our 2’s and 3’s students follow a track outlined on the blacktop playground, while the infants and toddlers crawl through, over, or around a simple course in their play yard.

Parents are invited to get involved in several ways. They can sign-up to volunteer for the event as it takes a lot of hands to make this day so fun and successful. They can come and support the students with cheers of encouragement. Parents can also choose to join in on the fun and run with the kids!

The money raised through the Jog-a-Thon directly supports student programs and facility improvements not covered by tuition. The will improve the quality of our children’s school environment and learning opportunities. Our goal is to raise $40,000!  If everyone helps and gets involved we can reach this goal!

The event package includes instructions, schedule, prize list, pledge sheets, and sponsor letters.  Please look over this packet and review the information with your student. If you have any questions please contact Coach Phil , Kim Kirk, or Principal Fast at .

Those who wish to support your child by donating directly to the event may be directed to this page where they can give through PayPal using the “donate” button on the right.

Also, as mentioned, we will need many volunteers for the Jog-a-thon event, including in the infant/toddler rooms. It is a lot of fun and your help truly makes a difference. Please sign-up to help using the Volunteer Spot link on this page.

Thank you for your help, support, prayer, and overall efforts to make this a successful 2018 VCA Jog-a-Thon!
