Community Service

“The greatest among you shall be your servant.”  Matthew 23:11

As part of Valor Christian Academy’s mission to instill the heart of servant leadership in the next generation, Valor has developed a community service program for middle school students.  Once per quarter, middle school students participate in a field trips to help those in the community, either by visiting and helping the elderly, packing food for the needy or cleaning up nearby beaches, parks and neighborhoods.  Valor students learn through these experiences that they are part of a larger community and that their small actions can make a significant impact on others.  We encourage parents to participate in these outreach opportunities as well.

8th Grade Leadership Retreat

The 8th Grade Leadership Retreat offers students the opportunity to bond and serve off-campus at locations including Children’s Hunger Fund, Union Rescue Mission, and Beacon Light Mission. Our principal, Mr. Fast, and middle school teachers use team-building exercises, service projects, and devotional time to help our 8th graders become the courageous leaders of our campus.
